I have a piece of jewelry that is hallmarked 14k 88 what does this mean? I do know the 14k is the gold but don't know what the 88 means.

Hi ember, yes, l4k is the gold weight, but the 88 could be the jewellers mark; are you sure it isn't BB. Other then that, can't help you with this, although I usually am pretty good at jewellery markings.
