I think I like that cat. That's so unlike me, since I really hate cats.

Omg! That's horrible. I have had many litters of kittens and I can tell you that she is probably moving them around because she is trying to find a place that she finds safe for her kittens. Do you have her somewhere with lots of commotion and nnoise right now? Give her a little box with the top cut off and a spot for a door... put a towel in it and put it in a quiet place where she can retreat to. How old are the kittens? Because if they are still feeding from the mom then you absolutely cannot take it away from its mother. It needs her milk to survive... otherwise you have to go to the vets and get a baby feeding bottle and special formula for kittens. When I rescued a kitten that was still really young that is what I had to do to keep it alive.
It is not like a cat to purposely kill their offspring. Sometimes they can get incrediably tired from birthing and not know that they have laid on one of their babies and the baby will suffocate but I'm not sure what is going on if you have found two. You need to go to a vet to help the last one. These kittens coud've been born with something that is killing them! Whatever you do make sure that you take care of the mom and baby... go to the vets and at least ask questions at the desk if you cannot afford to pay for a checkup.

She is obviously an inexperienced mother and is unsure of what to do with her kittens.
I would get her spayed in a few months to prevent this happening again.
