Using TaxAxt Online to file taxes and need to know what to enter for the following questions under the "Investment Sales" section (this is where taxact said to enter the information from the 1099-A) I DID NOT RECEIVE A 1099-C.

Section asked me to "enter the details of the investment property sold"

1. "Sales Proceed (total amount - not a price per share)"
2. "Cost or other basis (not a price per share)"

If this was an investment property and you did NOT get a Form 1099-C, then either you live in a state where the lender cannot go after you for the difference between the loan balance and the FMV, or the case is still being processed and you will get the Form 1099-C for 2010.

When you finish the Form 1099-A, does the $34,006 end up on Line #21 of the Form 1040?
