On my GE side by side refrigerator when you use the water dispenser you pull your cup away and it keeps dispensing water so GE sent me a replacement. I can't figure out how to pull the old one off the refrigerator, I don' want to just start yanking on something and have it break on me.

I have the same problem, I do not want to just pull on the stainless cover for fear of breaking it or warping it. I have tried a putty knife under the face plate but no luck. If you hear anything or I find anything I will post. GoodLuck

I have the same problem. My dispenser leaks whenever I use it. It is an interior dispenser on a GE with a bottom freezer. There seems to be no way to get to it. I can pull on the panel but it stays tight. Help!

There are 3 small tabs on the top and on the bottom. Star in a corner and lightly press downward. Once you get a corner started run your putty knife along the edges. There is two way tape there. That is what was keeping mine so tight. Everything else comes out pretty easy from there. Good luck.
