The movie in question (could be a TV Movie), is where a family from the city moves to a rural community. There is an old woman whom is the head of this community. After being accepted to stay they make friends with the neighbours, the father of which is blind and wears dark sunglasses. Every year on the same night, all the women go to a festival know as "The Harvest", the men are forbidden to leave there homes. The father of the family that just moved there is concerned for his wife as he finds out that one man is sacrificed that night of each year. He decides to go and investigate and that's when the male neighbour reveals he decided to look a few years back and because of what he saw he had his eyes cut out. He goes anyway and the movie ends with him now wearing dark sunglasses. The whole movie has a feel of "The Wicker Man" about it where there is a shroud of mystery surrounding the community.
