I have a Frigidaire Gallery Series Model #FRS26ZGH. About a month ago we noticed water on the floor in front of the freezer compartment. This happens abour every 8 to 10 hours. The bottom of the freezer was all iced up, a good 1/2 inch, so we thawed and, got rid of it. That didn't last long. The water comes out at the grating in front of the coils. It seemed the coils were iced up and stayed that way so we thawed it out longer so that the freezer coils were completely dry. Do you think we need service? I think I could replace a part or two, maybe. Thank you.

Water on the floor could be from a cracked drip pan or rusted out drip pan under the frig. Pull out the frig and check the pan first. Sounds like the defrost water is just running onto the floor.
