I died my hair and it came out black. Wanted dark brown. Any ideas how to reduce black colored hair?:confused:

whateever you do Don't try to use a way lighter color it will turn a brassy orange tint... you need to either try and strip the color by washing it with dish soap and then applying a temp color to it.. or perhaps go to a salon (like aveda) and get a personal shampoo with small amounts of hair dye into to slowly tint it. Sorry that's the best I can do. Next time maybe choose a lighter color then you actually want to color it for if you have dyed your hair a lot your strands a lot then they really grab color.
