I was a victim of 2nd and 3rd degree burns from a restaurant owner... the judge ordered her to pay $20,000 in med bills. So I am just curious because it started good and she has paid about $1200.00 but the payments have stopped. What do I do? Do I go to the court and ask for a court date? I have never had to do this before. She sold her restaurant and moved so I don't even know if the court knows.

Why is this posted in a thread about paying restitution?

I have asked that this be moved to its own thread.

If she didn't pay, go back to Court, request financial disclosure, move against her assets.

Well Judy Kay Tee... I am so sorry to have inconvenienced you with my stupid question. Don't worry it was a one time only question I won't be back to this web site because you are obviously rude. I posted my restitution question here because it seemed like the others knew what they were talking about. This was a terrible time in my life... thank you for making it a bit worse.

If you are going to use two different user names - which is against the rules, by the way - I would suggest you stick to the same one when asking a question and responding to the answer. That way it's more difficult to "catch" you attempting to get around the rules.

Oh - if you read what I posted I was actually on your side. The fact that I thought it should be on its own thread is an attempt to get more people to see your question. Posted here only the people who have previously answered will see it.
