My friend had her parole cancelled & was returned to prison. This was done when she received a simple stealing charge. If she's found not guilty or the charges are dropped would or rather should her parole be reinstated automatically & soon after one of these events happen. She has never been charged for stealing or similar before

Maybe.. But, I'll bet they violated her for a different reason, because they'd normally wait to see what the outcome of the new charges would be.

Or the evidence of her guilt was beyond question, for example caught with the item, on video, that the judge reviewed.

Also have they actually been sent back to prison or are they being held for parole violation in parole detention center ( OK like a prison) waiting for the outcome of the trial

If they did another crime ( sorry on parole you don't even want a parking ticket) they knew better and knew what would happen. You make it sound like stealing something is no big deal? But normally the parole officer violates their parole, they are arrested and sent to a holding facility to await a parole violation hearing. In GA they have special facilities for that.

So check the details, the parole may be violated and they are sitting in jail/prison, but it may be pending the hearing
