I own a 91 honda civic with a newly replaced distributor and fuel pump. Car was running fine then it went out on me while I was driving it and the accelerator wouldn't respond when I changed gears. After car cut off I tried restarting it but only get a click from behind the dash. Now when I turn the key the engine won't turn and the ecu doesn't blink at all, not even once. I'm thinking it's the starter solenoid but that wouldn't stop the ecu from blinking... any ideas?

You need to run a new wire from your starter to your ignition mine went bad had the same problem ran a new wire and it work beautifully. What happens it the wire over time get corroded some where and it dose not it the power it needs
