I have broke my mercury thermometer a few years ago & and I clean it up with a broom
Now I was afraid that I get chronic mercury poisoning because I often have tremors on my back and feet
And I am very depressed due to the worried of this ailment will cause my mental abilities to decrease...
I don't have any symptoms of coughing and headache and I have no problem with my nose!

Since your really concerned about this I suggest you talk to family doctor.

You know as a child, we used to play with mercury, had some let it run and go from hand to hand, keep it in a small tube.

I will not get into the amount of exposure needed, or the fact that mercury is not used often any longer. But if you are worried, see a doctor. I would ask, do you often worry yourself sick, thinking you may have something, can cause physcial issues. If this is the case, that also needs to be dealt with
