I have a miller M1M gas furnace. It will not ignite. The red led is flashing 2 times. It says the pressure switch is open. Does this mean the pressure switch needs replaced? Or is there something else wrong. How can you fix this problem? Thanks!!

Is the small inducer fan running?

I don't think anything is running. It sounds like the main board which has the red led on it just clicks one time when it is first trying to start, and that's it.

If the inducer fan is not running, the pressure switch will not close, giving you the code you are getting. You need to check for voltage to the draft inducer when a call for heat is first initiated. If you are getting 120v to inducer motor and the motor is not running, then its time for a new draft inducer. When you feel the motor on the draft inducer, is it warm or hot? If so this is another way to tell that you need a new one.(if its not actually running.) There are sometimes capacitors for the motor, which should be checked first. Also, sometimes rodents or birds can come in the exhaust pipe outside and get stuck in the impeller, and if you take if off and find that, them remove the dead thing and the motor will most likely work fine. Lots of options here, but impossible to say for sure from here. Good luck and please let us know how things work out.

Or as in my case the fan blade came off the motor for the inducer...
