Only a Physician who has examined and tested BOTH of you cannot tell if there are physical problems which could prevent pregnancy.

How long have you been trying to get pregnant?

I know it sounds like a long time when you are really hoping to become pregnant, but three months is not very long at all. Most couples will become pregnant in the first year, but some will naturally take longer than that even when things are fine.

Timing is only one aspect of becoming pregnant... there are numerous other factors that can effect results: cervical mucus, sperm health, an off cycle for ovulation, egg quality that was released, certain health issues with the woman and/or the man can cause it to take longer, things such as even smoking can have an impact, etc..

As JudyKayTee said, only your doctor would be able to determine if there were any actual fertility problems for either you or your husband. They often don't consider testing until a couple has been trying for at least a year however, (6 months if you are 35 or older), simply for the very reason that it can just take time.

Why not set up a time to visit your doctor with your husband for a preconception appointment so that you can discuss ways to improve your chances and cover information that can be helpful to you both.
