Has she recently been spayed? Spay incontinence can cause this as can a bladder infection or a kidney issue.

This started before she got spayed, she is now about 1 month post spay but she continues to do this.

Could be incontinence. Best make an appointment to see the vet.

My wife works at a vets office, our puppy gets frequent check ups the dr. seems to say she will grow out of it, I am just having a hard time agreeing with this, could she grow out of it or is there more going on then what we may know?

If it's incontinence, no she won't grow out of it. Could be a urinary tract infection as well, but with that length of time I'm leaning towards incontinence.

One of my dogs used to do this, a male, was neutered, but no medical issues, and yes he did grow out of it. Mind you it was a little squirt here and there while sleeping, but he did grow out of it.

Some puppies will wet themselves on occasion.

One of my mothers poodles was incontinent as a puppy but by 9 months of age she just stopped, her bladder muscles were finally strong enough to hold the urine.
Unfortunately, she assumed it was 'just a puppy thing' and bred her.
Her daughter is completely incontinent and still wetting herself at 3 years of age.

It's just a waiting game at the moment. There are tests that can be done but they are expensive, so I would just invest in some puppy pads to put under her bedding and wait it out for the moment.
