Hi. Can the normal shophouse change from one phase to 3 phase? [Archive]

Is 3 phase really a combination of 3 wires of 1 phase? Can the amps be calculated with combination of two units if two units will be used?

Three phase is three live wires.

What do you have that needs calculating?
