Phrase suggests to me amounts you pay to the custodial parent although not required to do so by a formal support order. Why?

The mother of our two year old son has not worked since 2008. Recently she was offered a job at a daycare center. In order for her to be able to work their and have our son enrolled there for the two weeks out of the month she is scheduled to have him, she is requesting that I fill out a voluntary child support form - so she can apply for Bcap. On this form she wants me to state that I give her fifty dollars a month. This is not completely accurate. I have been the only one working, and whenever she says our son needs something I send - whether it would be the cash or the actual item. She claims she is not trying to put me in the system; but why the need for the legal document?

Ask the daycare center if they really need you to submit this form and why.

I have a different question. It sounds like you have joint physical custody. Who is listed as the primary custodial parent? Was there any child support order issued by a court?

BTW what is Bcap?
