I am searching the title of a movie I saw on TV when I was very young. It was a WWII movie about a man who was running from someone ( or searching for someone )and was being aided by a British girl. One scene I remember well is when she tried to enlist the help of some British workers, and gave a stirring speech about how it was not only her England but all of their England that they would be helping. This stirred the workers to jump up and say "We'll find him!!" Sadly, the girl was shot at the end of the film. Sorry, it was so long ago that I saw it. One of those late night movies.

Hi Brujohn. The movie sounds very familiar but for some reason, I don't think the little girl dies. It sounds as if it might be "A Journey for Margaret." It starred Robert Young and Margaret O'Brien played the little girl.
