In the movie at the end the girl goes crazy and she ends up killing a guy and a girl with scissors I believe. Then it shows her sitting with him pretending like he is her boyfriend but he is dead. I believe that the film was an independent and I saw it on cable in 2006 but I am not sure how old it actually is?

Sounds like it could be May (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_(film)) with Angela Bettis, who, by the way, was awesome in Drones, which I just saw a few days ago at Fantastic Fest.
