I don't know how much to bid on an office that has 5,000 sq feet. It will need to be spot cleaned four nights per week and regular cleaning one day per week. At the moment five out of eleven of the exam rooms are not being used and will only have to be lightly dusted as needed. Does anyone have a suggestion?

You should check to see what your local competition is doing. And you will have to decide on the final pricing in the end.

Medical cleaning requires more attention to detail and the cleaning chemicals should have a disinfectant rating.

Medical is more expensive than conventional cleaning and demands more because you will be responsible for the cleanliness as it relates to the health of the staff and their patients.

Are you required to pick and remove the hazardous waste?

In my area proper medical cleaning is priced between $0.17 to $0.25 per square foot. Size of the building/s also has a bearing.

Since your specifications call for only a good clean once per week and a 'touch' clean the other four days (assuming it is a five day week) I would probably go in lower at around $0.12 per sq ft or so.

Good luck,
