I have a 2 1/2 year old staffy who has suddenly started having very loose bowel movements several times a day his stomach seems bloated he is full of very smelly wind and just does not seem himself he has gone from being very active to sluggish do u have any ideas what could be causing this it is not a change in food

Have you seen a vet about this?

We really can't give you a diagnosis over the internet. There are many things that could be causing this.

Please see your vet.

Please keep us posted. My guess is parasites of some sort. But again, that's just a guess.

Hope your little man feels better soon.

Hi he had eaten some slug food (found it in his pooh) luckily it was organic so not as harmful but has made him quite sick he has a temp today has been to vet they have looked him over and given him an injection and some antibiotics, they said him being sick and having loose bowels has helped flush his stomach through and to keep an eye on him so fingers crossed he was so good for the vet, thank you for your help

I'm glad that it's not too serious. I'll cross my fingers that everything goes okay and he's back to his puppy self in no time. :)
