I have had many problems relating to my periods and have been off and on all different types of pills. This year I decided to go on yaz, I only took it for 4 months (last month taking yaz was August 2010). My period was due between the 21 to the 24 September but in this time I have had brown discharge with period cramps and very, extremely light bleeding.PLEASE help : (. Or could I be pregnant?

The number one requirement for pregnancy is sex. If you haven't been having that, you are not pregnant. If you have, then it's possible. Get a home test and see.

I suspect that part of your problem with periods is all the different types of pill you've been using. They all mess with your periods to some degree. If' it was feasible, I'd suggest going all all hormonal methods of birth control for a while, let your natural cycle get back to normal.

Yes I have been on many birth controls and my last was yaz. Normally I would stop it and wait 2-3 months later to get a period and it would not stop. This time around its my period and its 35 days later. I just hope it's a normal period and that I will not have the same problems that I have had in the past. I am trying to conceive.

In that case, I'd give yourself a break. Allow six months for your body to get back to normal, and just enjoy yourself. Make love when you want without worrying about fertile times etc. Eat well, lots of protein, healthy fats, green veg and foods with folic acid.

After that, all the hormones should be well clear of your system, and you can start actively trying to conceive.
