I have a terrazzo shower pan in an upstairs bathroom -- perhaps 30+ years old -- that is pitted and has one or two cracks under the shower door. The drywall at the base of the wall beside the shower has softened and deteriorated so I suspect there is some degree of leakage. So I will be removing the pan, the tile and the shower door, repairing the wall and replacing everything else.

I need to know the most efficient way to remove the terrazzo shower pan without damaging the integrity of the drain piping. Any help?
