I have just brought an Acer laptop second hand, I turned it on and it came up with login details for some one else but I don't know the password. How do I restore the factory settings with out the disc?

I can not even get in to that

The person you bought it from has that info, if they don't want you to see their password, they should be able to disable or install a password that you know.
