OK I half to ask to get some answer, I have been reading some post from people about early pregnancy, ovulation and stuff like that. But its all confuseing me so I guess I just need to ask myself and hope someone who really knows what they are talking about can help me. I'm not due for my peroid until oct 6th. My cervix is high kind of hard but not like it was last month. Last month I notice it was hard and kind of bumpy at this time. I mean its high but I can still reach it and it feel like the cross between the tip of a nose to sft lips. I'm not having much cm today. But it has been loiton like. And I have been having theses pinching feelings off in on since yesturday by my belly button and my utrus. I know I got about 2 weeks till my peroid. And I'm having peroid like syptoms witch I don't get till about a week before my peroid. If I could have somebody that has been pregnant and had some of the same syptoms or could give me some input would be nice. I have also been having some back witch I do not get with my peroid, heart burn, and breast tenderness. Thanks for listening!

Hi tjdoom,

From one of your other posts it looks like you are about 6 dpo at this point.

It would be very early to notice pregnancy symptoms as the egg is likely just implanted or, more likely, is in the process of doing so if you are pregnant. This may be why you are feeling some of the pinching feeling... fingers crossed! Most women don't notice it, but some women feel that they do, you may even notice a bit more discharge.

It's too early to use cervical changes to determine pregnancy however, as how it may feel can vary from person to person. Most won't get a better determination until just before their period is due and the cervix is still high and soft.

If ovulation was off a bit from when you suspected, things would be pushed back a bit further. Some of what you are describing could also occur a few days after ovulation has ended.

As you can see, it is very individual and it often takes a few months of keeping track for a woman to really get to know how the changes in cervical mucous, feel, and position will take place for her throughout her cycle. Some changes happen very quickly for some women, some take a few days.

For now, best not to do too many checks, especially if you think you are pregnant. Try again in several days, if low and hard... not pregnant, if soft and high... possibly pregnant. Only way to know for sure would be to have a positive result on a pregnancy test.

Thanks for your post! Its help me out a lot.. and made sense unlike some of the other stuff I have read on here. I mean some of them I knew couldn't have been to true. But I like knowing as much as I can. That way if this months not my month, I can try again next month with more to go on. Yes I'm about 6 dpo. And this is the sec day I have woke up with af like cramps. Not normal for me at all to me going through this at this time in my cycle. So yes fingers crossed! But if it don't happen this month I'm OK with that cause I'm having fun learning all there is to know and its really helping me.

Thank you again for your post!
