If you were charged with uddering a death threat and you were found not guilty will it show up on a background check for gaining employment.. it was also 5 years ago.

First off, there ISN'T a one size fits all background check. There's good ones, and there's not so good ones. If you just want to flip burgers at Burger Barn, they're not going to find it. But, if you're applying to be a bank manager, they will.
