Ok, no one is going to help you without a lot more info.
Please give a complete question and info
1. is company still in business, ( if so merely contact HR)
2. how long ago was it
3. again, tax records from those years will show who it was paid to
But there is no magic way, no national record for you to keep track of your own money.
If you left that company you normally move the money to your own private plans

First yes it is on the pay stub, but they have to send you a statement at least every year when you were paying to use for your income tax deductions, Plus to show you the interest and how investments did.
So at this point going back to your old company if still in business, or contacting other employees you new

There is a company called "Mutual Risk Management" based in Bermuda, but it appears to be in the business of reinsurance for corporations, not administering 401(k) accounts for US employeees, so I doubt it's the correct company. See: Mutual Risk Management Ltd. (MRM) - Hamilton Bermuda - Company Snapshot - AlacraStore.com (http://www.alacrastore.com/company-snapshot/Mutual_Risk_Management_Ltd_MRM-1050114)
myjimmy13 - you're going to have to give us a bit more to go on. See if you can find out the full name of the company that served as plan administrator. As Fr_Chuck suggests - search your old records for any quarterly or annual statements you should have received from the plan admninistrator, and also try to locate any former colleagues who may be able to tell you how to contact the administrator.

You need to find out who the plan administrator is. To get started, you can:
1. Look through your files for old statements.
2. Call the HR department at your old employer and ask, or ask your former boss
3. Ask or call any former colleagues - they may know who the admin is.

How long has it been? Some plans have administrative fees which can eat up funds if left too long in the plan.
If you know which company administered the plan (Fidelity, Schwab, Etc) you can call them and let them know which company you were with when the funds were deposited. They will have it on file and be able to help you with it.
The other alternative is to contact the company for which you worked at the time the funds were deposited.
You must fill out specific paperwork to have the funds released to you.

Wow! 14 years is a long time. You might have a hard time tracking it down and it may have gone to admin fees by now and there may not be a 401K amount left.
If you still have money than you should be receiving statements from that account. If you have moved and did not change address's they have probably been returned to the investment company.
I do not hold much hope out for you to recover it after 14 years, however you might try one last thing and call the Department of Labor benefits division.
Dept. of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration at 202-219-8776 or toll free at 866-275-7922

A couple of other suggestions:
1. You can try the National Registry of Unclaimed Retirement Benefits (NRURB). They are responsible with keeping over 50,000 individual retirement accounts for individuals who have forgotten 401(k), profit sharing and other company sponsored plan balances that have been abandoned: http://www.unclaimedretirementbenefits.com/
2. Go on-line and search for abandoned property in the state you lived in at the time. If you have not been receiving statements from the 401(k) plan administrator they may now consider you lost, and by law they would have turned your assets over to the state. Every state has a program to try to reunite people with their lost assets. Here is a free web site that lets you search your state’s database of abandoned assets: Missing Money Free Search for Unclaimed Property - Officially endorsed By The States and Provinces (http://www.missingmoney.com/) . It’s a good idea to do a search on every state you ever lived in to see if there are abandoned assets in your name.
Good luck - and please let us know if either of these approaches work for you.
