I left a pregnancy test in the car for 3 days in about 97 degree heat. I took the test and it came out negative. I am about 1 1/2 week late on my period. Can too much sun exposure ruin the accuracy of the test?

I think you are showing common sense by asking this question and you probably know the answer. Temperatures can definitely affect things, so if you want peace of mind take another test. I'm not a doctor, but I certainly wouldn't trust the overheated pregnancy test.

Thanks for the input... my husband and I already have a 3 year old and I am hopping that my test said negative because of the heat... not because it is negative:)
