Hey guys,
Well I'm in need of some expert advice. I just removed the old tile sheets in my bathroom floor that where installed on top of some very old vinyl tiles which were also installed over some sort of thin cardboard like material. Then there was the plywood which wasn't in the greatest shape so that came off too. Now all that remains is the sub floor. I want to install tile flooring. What exactly do I need to do to make sure this is done properly? New plywood, backer board or wonder board, some ditra, membrane? I've read so much and seems there's a bunch of ways to do this. Can anyone tell me the right way? Would hate to spend time and money and not have it done right.
Thanks guys.
