The pump was starting too frequently so I shut off the well power and drained the system down to create a new air bubble (in the pressure tank) and now the -230v 1/2 hp- well pump won't start. I checked and changed the starter capacitor and installed a new pressure switch. I'm not sure how to meter test the pump side of the starter box. I normally do this twice a year, Spring and Fall... no problems before this..

Any hardware store will sell you a cheap neon tester.
Be careful! You'll be testing with high voltage!
Test for power coming in to the control box from from the breaker box. Get a reading? Good! Now with the contacts closed check to see if you have power to the pump motor. Let me know the results. Good luck, Tom

Oh Happy Day... turns out the breaker fell out of it's slot and got replaced one slot over... both legs still read 110v, but off the same circuit. I moved the breaker over one pew and... Glorioski! Water shoots out of the faucets.
Turns out to be another case of 'loose nut behind the wheel' Thanks everybody, Dealak
