Hello all,

I'm working on a music video for a song by Bob Gibson called ski patrol and came across something that I didn't quite understand.
The words are talking about different mascots/patron saints it says, "and Boston has it's cabin low."
What or who is a Cabin Low??

Thanks All!

Only thing I could find with any sort of reference to wording like that would be a Boston whaler boat and cabin low refers to the top being down on it.

Mmm that might explain all the boats I found when I searched it.
Thanks a million!

I suspect that the lyric is not "cabin low" but rather "Cabot and Lowell," which were two prominent families in Boston, as in Henry Cabot Lodge.Remember that this is 1950's era trivia. See: Boston Brahmin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Brahmin)
