Hello there I recently went into match.com and someone contacted me. I believe is a scam, they send me pics of a man and his son, they are supposed to be back in the state by next month nov/2010. I exchanged a few emails but realized right away it was a scam when the supposedly male started to ask me for presents for his birthday, obviously you don't just meet a person and star asking for presents, mostly I assumed you start talking a lot to get to know the person. So, I did stop talking to the man in the other side, contacted the site and they explained the same, the man in the pic must have been a client at some point and the scamers somehow retrieved the pics and re use them. The bad side of this is that the scamer has a few of my pics (decent pics of course) but I have no idea if they now will be used to scam someone else. If there is a way we can exchange pics it would be great. I even got out of the match site because of this.

Sorry, but there is no good way to find out who someone is by just a photo.

We are happy to help. The bottom line is that there is no "technology" that will identify a person by the photo alone.

Hi rick, I'm just curious about the guy in the pic. I knew he was not the scammer, only used his pic to fraud me by faker. Is it any tech scanner or something to searching someone by the pic like police do?
