Have replaced the brake switch and have the same problem

Sounds like a clutch issue or is it a automatic try to turn the steering wheel if the gear it is stuck in is park. If it is going into gear and nothing is happening, ( and it is a automatic transmission ) it would be the linkage came disconnected under the car and is a easy fix!

That's why we post the link to try and suck as much information as we can out of these one time posters to keep from asking "standard or automatic" or is it a Chevy, Dodge, imported.
