A writ of summons was left on my front pouch, but it was not signed by anyone. Do still have to go to court?

Hello c:
Sure. If a signature were required on a summons, NOBODY would go to court...

That it was not signed is not important. It tells you this information: that there is a case filed against you and what you have to do to contest it.
More troublesome is the manner of service. It was left on the front porch. In many jurisdictions this would not be proper service. If you are in a jurisdictions where the so-called "nail and mail" mode of service is allowed, expect it to be followed up with a first-class mailed copy.
In any event, no, you still don't have to go to court. But if you don't, you can be defaulted and a judgment entered against you. It's your call.
