I pay for my Dish Network service in Florida as I am there for the winter and brought it home to Canada. I had it hooked up to a Bell Satellite and I get all the Dish programs but no local channels. How can I get local channels in Canada?

You have to subscribe through Bell Canada to get local channels on your satellite. Just hooking up it up does not give you that privilege. The service does not come free of charge. A converter is necessary to implement local channels. You can buy the converterd in HD or regular, or you can rent it by the month.

Hi, thank you. I subscribe to Dish Network via my address in Florida. I bought a used Bell Satellite that the Dish Network receiver is connected to. I know that I am not really suppose to have Dish up here. How do I contact Bell re the local networks without getting into trouble for having Dish Network?

By buying their equipment and not telling them you are using the other.

Bell Store locator (http://www.bell.ca/shopping/popups/personal/storeLocator/slmap.jsp) or call the number on your Bell invoice (if you have a land line).
