I have an Eldridge B sewing machine and I was wondering what its value is. There's a patent date of November 30, 1886 on the sliding plate. The cabinet is a bit worn but in pretty good condition. There's a wooden cover for the machine, and 4 drawers hanging down below the table. You can still see some of the original decals (floral) on the machine. In the drawers is a metal box of attachments. I found an owner's manual that has a warranty with the date 189__ on it, and another owner's manual that has the date 11/02/01 on the front page. Neither manual has a cover. There are at least ten attachments in the box.

I have the leather belt that ran the machine, but my boys pulled the edges apart so it doesn't work any more. When I move the treadle or rotate the machine, it runs extremely smoothly and is nearly silent.

Thanks for any information you may have!
