I have been thinking over the years, about a movie I saw from maybe the 50's.

Probably a black and white film, action/adventure type.

It had to do with a truck being driven through mountain passes, loaded with
Dynamite(?).

At one point crossing a suspension bridge high above the valley, a bracket on the
Truck catches one of the cables holding the bridge up. The suspense mounts,
And finally just as the cable breaks, the truck (barely) makes it across.

Sorry, I don't know any more than this, but I have wondered for years (on
Rare occasions) about the film, the bigger plot, actors, etc.

Can anyone help? Thank you.

Possibly "Hell Drivers"?

I'm going to guess Sorcerer (http://www.filmarcade.net/2008/11/sorcerer-movie-review-by-ben-kenber.html), although possibly it's Wages of Fear, on which the former was based.

Thanks to both of you!

I haven't done total research yet, but believe that either
Wages of Fear (likely) or Sorcerer is the answer I am
Looking for.
