What OS are you running do you need Exchange support? Check out Zimbra (http://www.zimbra.com/) it provides Exchange support and is available foas client and server I think it is still available for free.

Can I ask why you are replacing Outlook? Perhaps telling us why can steer us in the right direction as to what you need exactly!
