So I've been trying my damndest to find this movie from a few years back that I had seen on TV (showtime, hbo, usa, can't remember what channel lol). It was about a detective(?) who was investigating a murder and got into the underground fetish scene where he met up with a dominatrix who may have been responsible for the murder.
A couple scenes I remember: the detective searching for info in a bondage club and the girl with a checklist asking him what he was into. He brought up the name of the dom he was looking for and got kicked out of the club.
He found the dom later, was tied up and strung upside down, his partner comes in and shoots the chick (who ended up not being the killer) and the partner made it look like a suicide.

Amazing how I can remember all this crap but not the title or any of the actors lol
I THOUGHT the name of this was Bound and Gagged but I can't find any actual movie for it.
And plus searching that title means I have to wade through a lot of... er... interesting sites lol
Also it sounded similar to the movie Bound by Lies but that ain't it either
