I have almost 9 year old twins and I have raised them singally from birth. The bio father doesn't even have his name on the birthcertificate, I for some odd reason still not knowing exactly why but gave my twins his last name. We did go to court and I do have soul custody of my boys.. how hard and what do I have to do to get my sons to have my last name?

What state are you in? Also, in the custody judgement was the biological father determined the putative father? Was paternity established? In a lot of cases paternity will be setablished to determine, if any, child support be paid to a parent. If paternity WAS established, depending on your state, the father's consent may be required on a court petition for minor name change.
