You have to follow the law as far as notice goes... sorry, but no shortcuts I am aware of.

From start to finish it is not a slam, bam, thank you ma'am thing. You must first notify the tenant in writing and then after so many days go down to the local courthouse and file formal eviction paperwork. Then there will be a hearing at which time the Judge will hear the tenant's excuse and then decide to grant the eviction giving the tenant so many days to vacate. I would also suggest that you get an Order of Removal signed at the same time as legally the tenant does not have to vacate the premises until the Order of Removal is presented to them to legally leave the premises. Most landlords evicting tenants don't bother with this loophole and then must go back to the Judge for the Order of Removal.

What grounds do you have for eviction? Is there a lease or is the tenant month to month?
