View Full Version : Am I psychic or can I see ghosts or am I insane for believing in this crap?

Okay so just from the question you can probably tell that I am confused and I don't blame you if you think I'm insane.

But I've always felt different from my friends and family and felt like I don't really fit in in school (by the way I'm 13). & last year my friends and I had a halloween party in my uncle's camp which is only like 200 feet from my house. We kind of thought it was creepy from the start but then we slowly realized it was haunted. I think we might've caused the happenings because we told my uncle to open the trapdoor in the ceiling and some dirt fell down. He said he had no idea what was up there and I don't think it had been opened in years. I mean how would you feel if you were a ghost and some kids came and decorated your house with ridiculous decorations that are creepy yet obviously unrealistic? I know I'd be pretty annoyed. And he said the owner had told him he thought there were graves behind it because of the little hills about the sizes of a coffin or whatever your would call it.

Anyway after the first day of decorating we got a bunch of stuff done but there was still a lot to do. So 30 minutes after my friends left I got my 7 year old cousin to come with me so I could do more work (I was to scared to go by myself). It wasn't until I was organizing the stuff until I realized the scarecrow hat was missing. Anyway I searched the entire place EXCEPT for the closet next to the microwave which I had left the hat on. The reason I hadn't searched the closet yet was because there was this feeling emanating from behind the curtain. It wasn't the typical 'creepy' feeling you get when in an old house when you feel like someone's watching you either. No, it felt like something bad was going to happen, like that feeling times ten. So reluctantly I looked in the closet and the hat was hanging from one of the hangers, swinging gently back and forth. And the scary thing was, no one had been in that house since I went back home after my friends left. So I didn't tell my cousin cause I knew he would laugh, not really getting that I wasn't joking, and I convinced him to leave (he'd found a game of parcheesi and wanted me to play it w/ him, but I felt like we weren't the only ones there and couldn't wait to leave). Not much happened until after the party. I think it was because 2 of my friends 100% didn't believe in ghosts and were joking around about it being haunted the whole time. But the day after, one of the 3 friends who actually believed me was the only one helping pick up (which I think was totally unfair!) and that was when several things happened. First, we had to pick up the bedroom floor and the same feeling from the closet was in there I don't know if she felt it or not but I did, and she wanted to close the curtain that acts as a door. I told her not to because if something happened I would rather see it than be too afraid to look! Then when my back was turned the cardboard box we were putting decorations in slid about a foot across the floor as if someone had kicked it! I didn't see it but I heard it for sure. Then we were too scared to go back so we brought my cat, who is always calm and we thought she would reassure us. But the instant we got inside she tensed up and I tried to take her towards the closet but she scratched me in her attempt to get down. Well it worked all right! I dropped her and she ran out the door. So now my friend and I were terrified, so we got a movie and played that for background noise. Well it happened to be about ghosts and very unrealistic (Mostly Ghostly, and its one of my fav. Movies) and it randomly turned off. And I know the outlet didn't blow a fuse because I pushed the power button and it turned right back on! So anyway that's all I have to say about the halloween party so moving on.

I know you will call me crazy but I kind of wish I was psychic in some way. It would explain why I feel different from everyone else and have trouble relating to the way they feel. I've always kind of been a loner and a social outcast, so to speak. And earlier I was bored and tried one of those psychic color tests and the first ten I got all right, but when I realized to get them right I had to click on them w/ out thinking and didn't get many right after that except for an occasional 2 or 3 in a row. Well that's all about I have to say and I hope you can help me :)

It is possible to be sensitive to energies other people do not detect. Some people can see lower into the infrared or higher into the violet ends of the light spectrum. Others can hear higher or lower pitched sounds. Everyone is different.

Feeling that you're going nuts is part of growing up. Remember that you are not what the blogs and ads and even your schoolmates want you to be. You are you, not Hannah or Ke$ha or GaGa or Bieber.

Study what you detect... how you detect it... just exactly what you detect... when... where... et cetera. You may find it useful.

Ok, for one thing its halloween so part of the mood is already set. Another thing is that if this house/cabin isn't used much it could have animals inside. Also Id bet its pretty old. Wiring and other things can affect your thinking and appliances (like the tv). Did you do any research to see if there are actually graves on the site? Most people marked them. But then again most people if the house is old enough buried their trash on the property too. You really need to find that out. You have heard the saying one mans trash is another mans treasure? Well it can be true. Something thought worthless then could be valuable today. Like old bottles. It sounds like you were caught up in the moment. And your uncle told a good story to get you going. Have you been back since to check things out? Brought a tape recorder or video camera with you and let it run? There are lots of things you can do to check it out and either way it makes for an interesting way to spend time.
