The vet has given antibiotics to my 1 week old kittens because they have diarrhea.
The instruction was to give 0.1ml to the kittens. However, I've accidentally pump at least 0.3ml into one of my kitten's mouth because he was struggling.
Is that all right? I felt so bad. They are so young and fragile and I don't want anything to happen to them. What can I do if it causes side effect? Do I force water into its mouth?

It should be okay, just keep an eye on the kitten in the meantime. Call the vet if anything happens.

Talk to your vet. They may suggest you lessen or leave off the next dose. I'm just guessing, so don't do so unless the vet tells you to.
In the future, maybe you should only have the correct dose in the syringe. It would prevent accidental overdosing, and give you peace of mind.
Please consult your vet! That could be harmful but it's best to help you kitty and consult them!

If it'll make you feel better to find out, you can call animal poison control at 1-888-426-4435. It doesn't have to be poison - they have all medications, etc. That's 24/7 so you can do it now, when your vet isn't open.

Oh sorry - that's in the U.S. Bad habit of not thinking about that.

Thank you all so much.. I called the vet first thing in the morning. He said to keep an eye on that kitty if there's change of its character, or appetite, or feces.
Everything seems to be perfectly normal. That kitty is still meowing his head off every 3 hours, sucking milk vigorously as usual, and poop like the day before. Still watery though, I guess the medication don't cure immediately..
I would like to add, please do NOT give your kitten milk. I know people used to commonly. But it is actually very harmful for them, and dogs as well, for example they can't eat chocolate. But dairy is bad for them. Please give her water and consult your vet about the milk maybe.

Picky, picky. :)
Picky, picky. :)
Juss saying...
Some people don't realize that they can call poison control for medication errors. I was actually agreeing with you.

The kittens are still young, I think they meant the mother's milk, not cow's milk. And no, do not force a kitten this young to drink water, it will get everything it needs from mom's milk.
