Hi, I'm located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I need to replace an 18-year old Trane A/C and natural gas furnace.
Based on all I've read, I like the Bryant Evolution (or Carrier Infinity, if for some reason it costs less) system.
My current Trane A/C is 4-ton, and it runs just about all day on very hot days... so I suspect it's sized about right.
House is 2500 sq ft top 2 floors with 2-story foyer and family room. 1st floor master, 3 BR's on 2nd floor. An additional 1100 sq ft of finished space in basement.
A/C unit is (of course) outside, furnace is in unfinished portion of basement. If new lines need to be run, basement ceiling is a drop ceiling... so it shouldn't be painful.
My thoughts for the system:
286B 4-ton heat pump
355CAV or 355AAV natural gas furnace
Evolution thermostat
GAPAAXBB air purifier
Humidifier
What should I expect the cost to be? What would be a good deal?
If I'm off the mark on choices, what other systems should I consider?
Thanks!
