This the order operation how do I do it -(-4)^2x2-3-1^2

First, can we clear up that this looks like this:

-(-4)^2*2-3-1^2

Are there any more parenthesis anywhere? Just looks a little weird to me.

Square everything that can be squared first.

Do multiplication where possible.

Then do the remaining operations from left to right.

-(-4)^2 * 2 -3 - 1^2
= -(16)* 2 -3 - 1
= (-(16) * 2) - 4
=(-32) - 4
= -36

Pauldaoctorpus, we're not really here to just do their problems for them. Unknown008 got them a start - let them take a crack at it and see if they can do it for themselves.
