View Full Version : How do I dye dark brown on bottom and blond on top

OK,to start with I have my hair on top light brown but with blonde highlights and a dark brown on top with my haircut *** a bob,so *** you kan imagine I do not want to screw up my hair ,if I had long hair I wouldn't mind but I DO NOT WANT TO GO SHORTER *** IT IS,and I've been thinking to have sew on extensions when I get my color I've been fantisising about for quit a while ,so I've been wanting my hair blonde for quitsome time and I am quite impatient gal lol,so if anyone out there knoes or even better expirience PLEASE can you help me,I would so be thankful

Part your hair with the amount of hair you want on the botton an do the same for the top. Get a blong die for the top and a brown for bottom. I would die the blond first just in case you get some blong on your died brown. Then I would do the bottom last

First off, color doesn't lift color. So you can't just buy a blonde color and put it on top. The only way you can do so, is by stripping or bleaching the top.
Is there a way you can go to a salon to have it done? The stylist will know exactly what to do, formulating color, even application, parted correctly, less damage.
Again, color doesn't lift color.
