Dishwasher doesn't drain after cycle..

Check the pump, make sure its pumping down, you should hear it. If you hear the pump, but its still not draining, then something is clogged. If this is the case, you will need to dissaseble the pump and drain lines until the clog is found.

If the pump isn't running, or sounds as though its trying to, but not spinning, then its possible something wedged in the impeller, or the motor on the pump has expired.

If the pump isn't doing anything at all, check for voltage at the pump, if voltage is present, replace the pump, if voltage is not, then we will need to troubleshoot further, if you have a simple dishwasher, it could be just as simple as checking the timer.

If you have a computerized dishwasher, get ready to spend some money, pack a lunch and some BC powders.
