Changed the fuel filter with non genuine, ar started and run fine. Left it for couple of hours, then spluttered across car park. Any ideas?

Were any codes thrown? If so, clear with a code reader.

Turn the key to ON, until the fuel pump stops running; then, turn it OFF. Repeat this process 3 times. This will fully pressurize the fuel rail, which is necessary for the engine to start.
