Hi, Im scared... My period didn't show up for August. I ran out of birth control in July, due to financial issues I haven't yet refilled it. The first period I got after going off the pill lasted almost two weeks (the end of july) and was extremely heavy for the first week, and just brown spotting for the second. During the second week my fiancé and I had unprotected sex, I was still on my period and little drunk so I stupidly let him release inside of me. Yes I know you can still get pregnant while on your period. I was expecting my period in the last two weeks but it never showed, I took two pregnancy tests and both came out negative. Ive had stress, work and family life and now stressed about not having a period.

Can there be any reason that isn't a baby why I still don't have my period?

Stopping your birth control, and yes, stress, can delay your period and throw you off cycle for months.

Just so you know, just pulling out is not birth control it's a way of getting pregnant. You'll definitely want condoms at the very least. Financially speaking, its waaaay cheaper than a child... but so is the pill for that matter. :rolleyes:
