I was driving my car on the high way about a week ago and the gas light came on but I had a half a tank of gas then all the lights came on my car and the temperature gauage went all the way up to hot then dropped to cold, and then I lost acceleration and it shut off and when I was pulled over the engine was smoking and the coolant was smoking, so I was told that it could have been the crank shaft positioning censor so I bought one and I couldn't find out how to put it on the car cause I couldn't find it and then I was told it could be the oil pump so I took the oil filter off and there was no oil in it what so ever! A yellow substance came out... but I was alos thinking it could be the timing chain I need opininions because I have school coming up and I need my car back the help is appriciated it.
