You can't force him to like you. If he doesn't feel the same way as you do, then find someone else who does.

You sound like the family pet rather than this man's wife/girlfriend. Think about this, you try your hardest to get his attention and approval, and he leaves anyway, with you begging him to stay and/or return.

How old are you, and why would you allow yourself to be reduced to no more importance than Fido.

You shouldn't have to try so hard, to be an equal, or to be respected, in any relationship. If you are treated better than this going through the checkout at the grocery store, or by the teller in the bank, that says a lot don't you think? You likely wouldn't allow yourself to be so under appreciated, disrespected, and put down more than once, without sticking up for yourself.

You keep begging. That has me wondering how old you are, and why you accept this behaviour.

Presuming you are of legal age, I'd say it's time to put on your big girl pants, and the next time he leaves, stop yourself from begging him to come back, and instead change the locks on the door, drop his phone number, and any and all electronic communications you have between you, and move on with your life.

You are the only one who can change your life. Nobody else can do this for you.

He treats you like crap because you let him and you just keep coming back for more of his abuse. He controls you because he can.

You don't have to try to be perfect for a man that truly loves... you just need to be yourself. Never change who you are for a man, especially a man who has no respect or appreciation of you.

Respect yourself and let him go. Never beg for a man to stay with you - instead go out and find a man that respects you and wants to be with you.
